Song for Thought

I first heard Downhere's How Many Kings during the holiday season and it has stuck with me since that point. For me, the fact that our Savior has done something personal for me leaves me awestruck. Again, the God of the Universe has done something and everything for me - that is humbling. I challenge you to really meditate on the chorus of this song. What a gift we have been given!

How many kings, stepped down from their thrones?
How many lords have abandoned their homes?
How many greats have become the least for me?
How many Gods have poured out their hearts
To romance a world that has torn all apart?
How many fathers gave up their sons for me?
Only one did that for me

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a things to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant being born in the likeness of men.
